I knew Roy from way back in high school. His brother's Jay and Hal as well. Good friends with him and his 1st wife Debbie and our daughters, Amber and Crystal, were born a day apart. Haven't seen him or his brothers in many years but do remember all the good times. Roy worked with my husband, Robert, back in the day at Sony as well. My condolences to the family. He was a good man.
Wish I was able to attend his service today but saying prayers for all his loved ones.

Roy was very sweet, kind, and welcoming. Always had a big smile on his face when he seen a person that he hold dear to. Mr Roy was a true Cowboy and I will always cherish the time that I had with both Sandie and Roy enjoying some cold tea having good conversation or just enjoying his company while he plays his guitar. Going to miss our little hang outs chilling eating Sandie’s good cookin. 🥲 He and I always talked about how good he had it and how lucky he was having Sandie take good care of him specially with her food I always told him I am Jealous of him we laugh and I just melt love seeing his big smile as well him blushing because he knew I was right 🥰 that he had the best cook and care taker in the world Roy loved his wife and his family.

Roy was my brother in life. He was an unapologetic Christian and did not tolerate folks that derided his savior. I have so many stories & memories. They are too voluminous for this venue. Suffice it to say, beneath that Tom Mix cowboy hat that Roy sported so well, to borrow a phrase, there was a barbed wire halo.
