Martha Linda Gonzalez's Obituary
Our beloved Martha L. Gonzalez was called to be with our Lord on January 9, 2025, at the age of 62.
Martha’s biggest love in life was Jesus. She shared that same love with her family and friends. Martha truly was a servant of Christ and her calling in life was to serve others. She dedicated 25yrs to Southwest ISD as a paraprofessional to students in early childhood in special education. Her ability to connect with her students was a gift that was instilled in her from the Lord above. Martha’s vibrant personality and radiant smile could light up any room and “get the party started!” After retirement, she filled her cup by spending most of her time with family and cherished every moment she shared with her grandchildren.
Martha’s other loves were shopping, Dallas Cowboys, and playing bingo with family and friends. Her biggest accomplishments were her 3 children and was proud to see her two daughters share her love of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and George, her brother, Leonard, and her son, Larry.
Martha is survived by her loving husband Charlie, daughters; Patricia and Michelle, son-in-law, Giovan, sister, Rose, grandchildren; Trinity, Gabriel, Xiomara, great grand-daughter, Catalina, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
