Laura Elaine St.Clair's Obituary
Laura Elaine St. Clair, known by her loved ones as Elaine passed peacefully at 7:30p.m. on July 28, 2021 at her apartment in San Antonio, TX at 62 years of age. Elaine was sick for some time but in the end the good Lord took her home quick and without pain. She is proceeded in death by her father Michael Logan St. Clair, mother, Laura Ann Pope and step father, Arthur William "Bill" Pope. She leaves behind her son, Mathew Wayne St. Clair, niece, Delorean St. Clair Wiley, brother, Michael Wayne St. Clair, great nephew, Michael McLaren Morin-St. Clair, and great niece, Catalina Leigh Wiley. She also leaves behind her pride, Daisy, and her joy, Odie.
Elaine always called it like she saw it. This may have been off putting to some, but it is a level of honesty that was taught in the St. Clair and Pope households. Elaine could cuss like a sailor, fight like a soldier, and drink like a marine. She knew she was a sinner but loved Jesus more. For these reasons she was a parishioner at Holy Name Catholic church. Elaine was also a veteran through and through. She served her fellow veterans at VFW post 837, just as her mother and step father did before her. She will be dearly missed by those lucky enough to call her friend and family. If Elaine loved you, she was as loyal as a dog.
The family hopes you can pay last respects at a memorial service to be held at Holy Name in the near future. However, they know these are uncertain times. If you are unable to attend in person, they humbly ask you make a monetary donation in her honor.
A family organized memorial service will be held September 2nd at 11 am at Holy Name Catholic Church.
May she rest in peace knowing how much each one of you loved her.
