I found a couple of pictures of my Aunt Elaine and me.
Elaine and I shared the same birthday month and year, so her passing reminds me how short and precious life really is. What I know about Elaine was that she loved life and tried to experience it fully. She did what she enjoyed doing and that was traveling, whenever she was able to afford it. She was generous at heart and will not hesitate to give off the clothes of her back. Literally! As a matter of fact, I still have a dress she gave me many years ago and still wear it. If she likes you, she will treat you good to a fault.
Elaine, may you find peace, love and joy in the afterlife. May the Lord, our God heals you and restore you. Rest in peace now Elaine. 🙏❤️🙏
I have so many memories always with laughter. Vi met Elaine in the Spring of 1974 at Rogers Middle School. We were classmates in Literature. We were assigned to write a story and then share the story with the class. I shared my story and immediately after Elaine tapped me on my shoulder and told me that was one of the best stories she ever heard and we became fast friends. Elaine Vanessa and I were so close that we even had our first children within months of each other matter of fact we were all pregnant at the same time. Mathew was born followed by Kristin and Rene. We have been friends over the years and have shared so many wonderful memories together I am thankful that I was able to spend the last four months with her. We shopped together, we ate together and we shared more memories together. She will be missed. I give God all the glory and the honor for allowing us to spend precious moments together. God bless her and keep her and God bless her family in the name of Jesus I pray, amen.
Rest In Peace in Our Father's house. I know you are at peace now with your beloved Mother, Bill, Mike and my Grandfather Eugene and others…as I know they met you at the gates. You were a feisty spirited woman who gave her opinion whether you wanted it or not. She wore her honesty like a badge and I respected that. Her love for her son Matt is unmatched. The last time I saw her was at a birthday party in April. I didn’t know that was going to be my last hug. Rest In Peace
There are too many memories to write them all. Some of my favorites are when we tried flying a kite on Grover Beach but it was way too windy. Also, the dinner we had at the nicest seafood restaurant in the 5 cities, right on the Avila pier. This summer, Elaine and I made the best memories of all. We did lunch together, got our nails done, went shopping, and even attended a graduation party together. I love you, Aunt Elaine, you will be missed.
