John Paul Stevens' Obituary
John Paul Stevens, 52, went home to be with our Lord on July 19, 2019. He was born in Kingsville, Texas on October 25, 1966 to parents, Mike and Deenie Stevens and arrived in San Antonio when he was 8 weeks old from Bishop, Texas. He grew up a Southsider and graduated from McCollum High School. At 16 he met the love of his life, Cindy Howard, whom he forever loved. He was employed at C. Bruno for 10 years where he received numerous accolades. He was presently employed for the past 8 years at South Texas Auto Exchange.
JP, artist and musician, exuded love and kindness, laughter and a million dollar smile! He led a simple life and was not enamored by worldly goods. He loved to cook and could sing ‘Mustang Sally’ like none other. He skied in his blue jeans with his black cowboy hat on and was known to some as ‘Cowboy’. He attended Rebel Church and was a beautiful soul. He was cherished by all who knew him. He was a gem and a treasure.
