Loved our Rockport fishing trips and the times we would meet you and Joyce in luling for BBQ . GOD saw you getting tired .And a cure was not meant to be. So he put his arms around

Held your hand and told you how much they loved you and would miss you , but its not goodbye but see you soon .Although we loved you deeply, Your Golden Heart stopped beating ,hard working hands at rest . God broke our hearts to prove once again !

My condolences to the Spates family, JB was a great friend and coworker, I had the opportunity to train JB when he first stated with CPS Energy, he was challenging but always eager to learn, we had a lot of great memories working together. I will miss his holiday phone calls asking how we are doing. JB and his family will always be in my prayers.

at CPS Energy. Let me tell you J.B. was one of the nicest men i ever met. He and I shared the same Hobbie in Raising and Handling "Roosters. " this man knew everything there was to know about them. If ever i had questions about these birds J.B. was there to answer. I know one thing is for certain J.B. gonna miss you but its not good by but i'll see you later .
