Yolanda Maria Marin, age 71, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022.Yolanda was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 21, 1950. Mrs. Marin was preceded in death by her parents, Lolo and Lily Mendoza; brother, Rudy; sisters, Elida, Lily, Olga, Dolores, and Elvira Mendoza. She is loved and missed by all who survived her beginning with her children, her son, Julio Morin; and daughters, Luisa Morin (Louis Sanchez, Jr), and Ofelia Sanchez; daughter in law, Yesenia Morin; and son in law, Jason Gonzales; grandchildren, John, Isaiah, Jason, Julio, Heather, Jasmine, Heaven, and Faith; great grandchildren, Declan, Jordan, Isaiah, Jayden, Gianna, and Angel; and brothers and sisters, Felix, Jerry, David, Sammy, Emily and Aurora.
Yolanda enjoyed family gatherings, birthday celebrations, BBQ's and cooking. She loved being outdoors and gardening. She enjoyed spending time in Downtown San Antonio at the San Fernando and Travis Parks.
A visitation will be held at 4 pm on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Camero Funeral Home at City Base, 3706 South WW White Road, San Antonio, Texas 78222. A prayer service will be held on Friday evening at 6 pm at the funeral home chapel. It was Mrs. Marin's wish to be cremated. Services and Care under the direction of Camero Funeral Home at City Base.
