Vivian S. Brewer's Obituary
Vivian S. Brewer born September 6, 1933 to Thurman Shuster and Mary McGuire Shuster in Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by her family at the age of 86 years. Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Patrick Brewer. She is survived by her son, David Brewer, daughter, Karen Hogan, son, Dale Brewer, and son and daughter in law, Paul Brewer and Nancy Ulloa-Brewer; brother, John Shuster; sister, Doris McCurdy; granddaughter, Christina Opel (Mark) and grandson, Paul J. Hogan; great-grandchildren, Joon Opel and Ozzie Opel; numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Mrs. Brewer was a loving mother and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was strong in her faith and found comfort in her Church. She was involved in the P.T.A. for Kingsborough Middle School and McCollum High School and served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and a Boy Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. She loved her San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private Funeral Services will be held for Mrs. Brewer.
