Victor Friday's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victor Friday, who left this world on October 11, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on April 27, 1961, in San Antonio, Texas. Victor was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was a testament to his unwavering faith and love for God.
Victor is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hilda Friday; his mother, Maria Vasquez; his brother, Eddie Friday; and his cherished grandson, Victor Friday III.
He is survived by his loving children,
Jennifer Friday-Mendoza (Edward), Victor Friday Jr. (Myriam), and Lisa Friday-Chapa (Amadeo), as well as his treasured grandchildren, Caleb, Lauren, Brooke, Victoria, Chasity, Serenity, Liam, Lila, and Lilliana. He also leaves behind his siblings, Alicia, Michael, Janie, Juan, Cindy, and Israel, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.
A passionate servant of God, Victor dedicated his life to spreading joy and love through music and worship. His talent as a musician brought people together and he found immense joy in leading church concerts where he would sing and praise alongside his community. Victor's warm spirit and caring nature made him a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him. He was a true man of Christ whose legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A visitation in honor of Victor will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM at Templo Amor y Gracia, located at 332 Wilcox Ave., San Antonio, TX 78211. A service celebrating his life will take place on Tuesday, October 21, at 10:30 AM at Templo Amor y Gracia followed by interment at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
Victor Friday will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace, embraced by the love of God he so fervently served.
