Vicente Mares Jr.'s Obituary
Vicente Mares Jr., was called to our Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the age of 63. He was born on December 8, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas to Vicente and Maria Simona Mares.
He enjoyed listening to music and doing arts and crafts.
He is preceded by his parents, Vicente and Maria Simona Mares; nephew, Andrew Mares; niece, Vanessa Mares and brother-in-law, Noe Garcia.
He is survived by his siblings, Dora Mares, Leonard Mares (Leticia), Leticia Parada (Freddy), Venita Mares, Ruben Mares (Beverly) and Valerie Luna (Jose) as well as numerous family and friends. Vicente will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
There will be a Visitation held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A funeral procession will be departing, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. for Mass of Resurrection at 9:00 a.m. at St Timothy Catholic Church, 1515 Saltillo St, San Antonio, TX 78207, followed by burial at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
