He is survived by his devoted wife, Georgina Castañeda, and his ex-wife, María Gutiérrez, both of whom he shared a unique and respectful bond. Uriel was a loving father to his children: Javier, Uriel Jr., Leticia, Luis, Antonio, Filiberto, José, Alfredo, Patricia, Héctor, Margarita, María Elena, and Peter, along with their partners.
His legacy continues through his 38+ cherished grandchildren, who will carry forward the lessons of kindness and humor he instilled in them. Known for his quick wit and generous spirit, Uriel was the kind of man who could light up a room with his humor and fill any space with his courage. He was always ready with a joke or a comforting word. His generosity knew no bounds, and he was always the first to offer help to anyone in need. Uriel's passion extended to his love of raising horses, a hobby that brought him immense joy and satisfaction. His eyes would sparkle as he shared stories of his equine companions, and his days were often spent in their noble presence. He also cherished the time spent visiting his children.
