Tomas Garza Ambriz, born in Jourdanton, Texas on December 21, 1944 to Miguel and Estefana Ambriz passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at the age of 70 years, surrounded by his family. Mr. Ambriz was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Estefana Ambriz, brother, Larry Ambriz, and son in law, Bobby Davis. Mr. Ambriz is survived by his loving wife, Sofia Ambriz; children, Sandy A. Davis, Tommy Ambriz and wife, Zobedia Ambriz, and Ronnie Ambriz; grandchildren, Robie Davis, Raelin Davis, Landry Ambriz, Anthony Ambriz, Jordan Ambriz, Ty Ambriz and Emily Ambriz; siblings, Manuela Gonzalez, Gilbert Ambriz, and Frank Ambriz; also numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Visitation will begin Monday, March 2, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. A Rosary Service will be Monday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 12:00 noon at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Madre Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery #2, Poteet.
