Theresa was born in Dallas but resided the majority of her life in San Antonio, TX. She graduated from Blessed Sacrament Academy in San Antonio, TX. Theresa was loving, witty, smart, kind, and loved her family and friends with all of her being. She loved art and her favorite artist was Edna Hibel. She loved all genres of music from Country to Cajun Zydeco and loved dancing. She loved to travel with her two daughters and show them the world, new lands, and experiences. She made sure they knew she loved her. Theresa was always dressed to the nines with her makeup, perfect red hair, polished nails and toenails. She could always be found with a scent of Chanel No. 5 in her younger days and Dolce and Gabana Red when she was older. Theresa was like her mom and never was shy to make friends wherever she went. She was quick to help others in need. She was a wonderful painter and artist and always had a story to tell and knew the most random things. While married she and her former husband worked side by side to build a successful business which still strives today. She loved going to the movies, eating out, known for her laughter and smile, stories and really enjoyed life. While retired she continued her love of learning and worked hard to get her massage therapy license and had a successful practice called “The Right Touch.” Theresa always knew what to do to heal and help people. She always loved her children, grand babies, sisters, family, and friends with perfect and full pure love and joy.
We all have been blessed and extremely lucky to have been able to know her, love her, and more importantly be loved by her. She will be missed and remembered always. Theresa was the definition and epitome of love and joy. She practiced the Catholic faith with all her heart and her beliefs never wavered in her last few years, never once did she complain about anything, not pain or dislike of a meal, never a negative word passed her lips, only smiles and funny stories and always saying I love you to her family. Heaven got lucky today and received her with all her grace, spunk, and loving spirit. We take comfort in knowing we will see her again one day.Services will be held on Saturday July 8, 2017 at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 108 S Washington Dr., Devine Texas 78916.
