Thelma Chavero's Obituary
San Antonio - Thelma Elma Chavero, 64, went into eternal rest on January 10, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
She was born and raised in Mcallen, Texas and was currently living in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Sharyland High School, went to Beauty School and worked at McAllen Medical Center Hospital in McAllen. She was currently self-employed and worked at Rios Barbacoa #14, Hondo, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Julia and Ramiro Soza; her daughter, Vanessa Chavero; her siblings, Jorge Ramiro Soza; Hector Soza (Melba); Joel Soza (Beatriz); Irma Gonzalez (Rodrigo); Ismael Soza (Rosalva); Saul Soza (Yolanda); Roel Soza; Diana Mirtha Soza.
She is survived by her loving husband, Juan F. Chavero Sr.; son, Juan F. Chavero Jr.; daughter, Elissa Y. Chavero; four grandchildren, Juan F. Chavero, III, Jocelyn K. Chavero, Xander A. Chavero, Ezekiel J. Chavero, all of San Antonio; four sisters, Julia V. Perez (Leonel), Rosa F. Rodriguez (Joe), Estella Soza Garza (Felix), Marissa Soza, all from Edinburg and Mcallen.
Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2024 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm with the Rosary at 6:00 pm at Camero Funeral Home at City Base 3706 S. WW White Rd.,San Antonio.
Mass will be held at St. John Neuman Catholic Church. 6680 Crestway Dr. San Antonio, TX 78239 at 11:30 a.m.
Funeral Services are under the discretion of Camero Funeral Home, San Antonio.
