Sylvia Maxine Gamez's Obituary
Sylvia Maxine Gamez born December 26, 1955 went to be with the Lord and back into the arms of her parents on November 17, 2020. Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Alice Gamez and brother, Richard S. Gamez. She is survived by her children, Eddie (Misty), Betty (Andrew), Conrad, Johnny (Erica), and Christopher; grandchildren, Spencer (Kristen), Ameriz (Mauricio), Lauren (Sid), Alyssa, Gage, Emma, Ace, Cashon, Johnny, and Zain; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Lane, Lucchese, Kaisley, and one on the way Derrynn; her brothers, Bill, Alfred (Anabel), Randy (Brenda), and several nieces and nephews. For those who knew Sylvia knew she loved music and dancing. She was known to live her life on her own path. A path that allowed her to live in the moment where the music never stopped. She lived her life to its fullest happiest potential. She always did what made her happy and enjoyed it every step of the way. While maybe she wasn’t a part of our day to day life, Sylvia leaves behind a great legacy. If anything, she taught her children it was strength, not to bow down when times get tough, but to rise up and make the best of what we are given. Things may have been unconventional but because of her we exist. We now lay our Mother down to finally rest, she’s reunited with family who have gone before her. She is pain free and healthy back to that Woman who danced her way through life. She is in a place that she can watch over her children, see her grandchildren grow, smile down, and be proud of what she created. Because in her own way, Sylvia has left us behind with little of something rather than more of nothing. May She Rest In Pace and Dance For Eternity. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home.
