Sonia really cared. It took us years to really get to know each other as sisters-in-law but when we did we spent a lot of time talking, texting, messaging. She was very prayerful and always shared that with me.
My aunt passed away the year before Sonia passed and she was my only in-law that came to the service.
I remember how sick Sonia was. She could barely walk. But there she was. She came straight to me and said, I am here to give you a hug! And she hugged me so tight. I will never forget that.
She was not perfect. (Who is?)
She was a sinner, like we all are.
But she was remorseful and forgiving and loving. She just wanted to love and be loved by all.
I loved her.
I miss her.
