Socorro Prieto Salazar, born on April 30, 1936 in Guanajuato, Mexico, passed away on November 2, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 88. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Salazar and Eufemia Prieto; wife, Candelaria B. Salazar; brother, Antonio Salazar; and daughter, Candelaria Salazar. Socorro is survived by his children, Vicente Salazar, Jose Salazar, Maria Socorro Garza, Ruben Salazar, Jesus Salazar, Mary G. Alvarez, Candelario Salazar, Maria Del Carmen Martinez, Maria Dolores Ojeda, Alejandra Ceja; sister, Margarita Salazar; grandchildren, Blanca, Vicente, Maria Luisa, Daniel, Louis, Jennifer, Ruben, Vanessa, Erica, Jessica, Michelle, Joey, Evelyn, Jackie, Abby, Crystal, Justin, Matthew, Alex, Klarissa, Angie, Angelica, Jose, Arturo, Monica; great grandchildren, Carter, Mia, Olivia, Noel, Blue, Brixton, Ely, Tristen, Damian, Andrew, Bryan, Noah, Owen, Zaedon, Zacharya, Samuel, Alyssa, Adam, Antonio, Andrew, Sebastian, Amery, Vicente-Anthony, Margarita-Victoria, Chanel, Azalya, Zelani, Jose, Emily, Secily, Isiquel, Lyamae; as well as numerous family, friends, and other relatives. Visitation will begin on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Camero Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Camero Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
