Simon C. Cardona Sr.'s Obituary
Simon C. Cardona Sr., born February 18, 1939 in Poteet, Texas passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the age of 81 years in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Cardona was preceded in passing by his loving Wife Carmen S. Cardona; Sons, Gregorio Cardona and Juan J. Cardona and Granddaughter, Tracy Cardona. Simon is survived by his Children, Santa Estrada (Rosendo), Simon Cardona, Jr. (Virginia), Corina Pesina (Johnny) and Rudy Cardona (Emma); 12 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Cardona worked 2 jobs to provide for his family. Family always came first for Simon. On his days off Mr. Cardona loved having BBQs with his loved ones. He was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs; however, he loved watching all sports. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at First Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow after the services at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
