Simon A. Blancas' Obituary
Simon A. Blancas, born on July 14, 1941, passed away at his home in San Antonio, Texas on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the age of 83. He is preceded in death by his parents, Simona and Acension Blancas and son, Rosario D. Blancas. Mr. Blancas is survived by his wife, Gloria D. Blancas; children, Simon Blancas Jr, Israel D. Blancas, Maria Linda (Hebert), Peter D. Blancas and Moses D. Blancas; grandchildren, Jessica, Faustino, Christoval, Alex, Lucas, Daniel, Amber, Deborah, Israel, Victoria, Matthew, Michael, Sarah, Brian and Scott. Mr. Blancas was retired from CPS and was a beloved husband and father that will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Camero Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
