Silvia Gonzalez entered into eternal rest at the age of 100 on July 19, 2024, at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. She was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico.
Silvia was a very positive person who would always encourage people to move forward in life. She was also an outgoing person who enjoyed the occasional margarita. Even after breaking a femur, she had the strength to keep going. She was a loving person who enjoyed sometimes babysitting her grandnephews back in the day. She loved gardening and had the biggest piquín plants for a long time. She also loved cooking for her loved ones and had a gift for making salsa that she would use for huevos rancheros.
Silvia is survived by her sister Maria Elena; her nephew Dante (Sr.); her grandnephews Dante (Jr.) and Isaac; her grandniece-in-law Karina; her great-grandnieces Laurelli, Adalina, and Ilani; her great-grandnephew Isaiah.
