Sergio Torres Guerra's Obituary
Sergio Torres Guerra was born in Monterrey, Mexico on April 26, 1949, and went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 15, 2025, at the age of 75. He was a pillar in his church where he served the Lord in different capacities for more than 40 years. He and his wife were head pastors in a mission church located in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico. Sergio has run the race and is now with our Heavenly Father. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Maria A. Guerra, parents Juan Guerra and Nicolasa Torres, sisters: Beatriz Guerra Torres, Aurora Guerra Torres, and Virginia Guerra Torres.
Survivors include his loving children: Yomeida Hurtado, Sergio Guerra, Mario Guerra, Javier Guerra and Edith Ruiz, siblings: Minerva Guerra Reyes, Eleuterio Guerra Torres, Juan Guerra Torres, Raul Guerra Torres, Maria Reyes and Isaias Guerra Torres as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Brookehill Funeral Home, with a celebration of life service to begin at 6:30 p.m. A gathering will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. with a departure from the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
