Sarah Francis Stewart Shilow's Obituary
Sarah Francis Stewart was born January 26, 1939 in Cameron, TX to Jimmie and Willie Stewart. Sarah departed her earthly home and entered her Heavenly home on September 8, 2021.
Sarah was preceded in death by her mother, father and daughter Sharonda Drew. She is survived by her son Willie Drew, Jr, daughter Shonda S Shilow, nephew Ronald Love, and grand-daughters Deanndra Villarreal, Joslyn Drew, Sarah Shilow, grandson Joseph Drew her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many family friends.
Sarah accepted Christ and an early age and was a faithful member at Hosack Avenue Baptist Church. She worked as a polished civil service aircraft mechanic and Administrative Secretary at Kelly AFB for 30 years and retired in November 1990. She also worked with the MELD program as a caregiver for children for 8 years. She was an active member in the community where she touched and blessed the life of each person she came in contact with. She was a loving mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted friend to so many people. In spare time she enjoyed barbequing, cooking and traveling,
She will be well remembered and loved by all who knew and loved her.
