Santos Soto's Obituary
Santos Soto, Husband, Father, man of God. Santos was born May 21st, 1976, in Raymondville, TX, but was raised in Hereford Texas. In the year 1993, Santos gave his life to the Lord and was his faithful servant until his last breath, spreading the word of the Lord to all who he encountered. The year 1997 was another banner year for him as he would marry the love of his life, April Soto in Hereford, TX. He and April would relocate to Midland TX, where they would raise their four beautiful children, Amariah (23), Elisha (20), Judah (17) and Santos Jr. (14), to be servants of the Lord just as he and April are and continue to be. On May 27th 2021, he joined our Lord in heaven after giving his life to save his eldest daughter, Amariah. Santos was a prime example of the sentiment that the circumstances of one’s birth do not determine their destiny. He overcame great adversity in his life to provide and make a better life for his wife and children.
He is survived by his mother, Estella Cervantes of Hereford, TX, and his stepmother Mary A Soto of Lyford, TX. He has five brothers, Abel Soto of Amarillo, Raul Soto of Hereford, Henry, Joshua (Maria), and Isaiah Soto of New Braunfels, one sister, Sarah Garner (Xavier) of Austin and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Margarito Soto Jr of Lyford ,TX and his Mother-in-Law Ruth P. Villarreal of Hereford, TX.
