My godfather (padrino) Uncle Jim: as I reflect back on so many wonderful memories I enjoyed with you, words cannot express the sadness that my family & I feel. Growing up I remember being around you, Tia Rosa, & my cousins Jim, Sam, & Jess all the time. From running around at the house on Chalmers to playing in the big yard at the house off Rigsby behind Dodd Animal Hospital where you gave such love & care to all those dogs to your current home on Caddo there are endless memories to cherish. As a young man I was always eager to learn from your work ethic & discipline. You were such fun to be around, sharing your jokes & testing your strength by arm wrestling me. You always had a cold beer to share. I can never forget the super hot chile you’d make for me. We’d sit in the backyard competing while eating it til we both had steam coming out of our ears & knowing we’d both pay for it the next day. :fire: Always a man who praised others, you were so humble which shows what a great man you were. You will forever live in our hearts.

My sincerest condolences to the Pesina Family. To Tia Rosa and my cousins Jessica, Sam and Jim... I love you all so much and praying that God fill you with peace and that you feel comforted knowing that Uncle Jim is at rest. It had a been a few years since I had seen him and it brought me a lot of comfort to see him. He of course, through his tears still made me laugh. It was such a privilege to pray for him. I love the very last conversation we had. He said, " I dont know how to pray" and I said, Uncle Jim. It's simple, no wrong or right way, Just talk to Jesus" tell him how you feel and give Him your heart. He agreed that in the end, that is all we have left! and made me laugh again when he said that as the smartest thing he eve heard! That filled me with so much joy, that I had a part of that sweet moment. I have so many childhood memories and many weekends that I stayed with you all at the house on Chalmers. Gardner State Park, Comanche Park, his El Camino and his great love for dogs. Uncle Jim, you will be greatly missed. Believing that you are in the loving arms of our Father Jesus Christ and completely made whole and well. Until I see you in heaven, love your niece...

To my Pesina Family. My heart aches for the loss of my Tio Jim. I loved the calls and text from him and that he always ended them with LOVE YOU PRETTY GIRL. Jokes were sometimes corny but would make me LOL just because it came from my Tio. I will always remember his laugh. Hugs to my Tia Rosa, primos Jimito, Sammy and Prima Jessica and all your families. Tio, you will forever be missed. RIP.

Thank you Jim for all you did for me . My memories of you ....you would pass thru my house to check if my yard needed cutting, I would get home from work at night to find my yard so beautifully mowed, even recently with the winter storm you were sick, but you wanted me to stay warm an invited me to stay with you all.we leave our prints on this earth with our good deeds , you certainly left plenty your work here on earth is done now your travel to the afterlife.
