SanJuana A. “Nena” Chapa Negrete 1954-2025
SanJuana A. Chapa Negrete, aged 71, of San Antonio, Texas, departed this life on July 17, 2025. She was born on January 8, 1954, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Manuel Chapa Molina and Maria De Refugio Negrete De Chapa.
SanJuana was preceded in death by Manuel Chapa Molina (Father), Maria De Refugio Negrete De Chapa (Mother), Cynthia Noemi Vela (Leocadio Vela) Manuel Hugo Chapa (Teresa Lopez) Sonia Aide Chapa and is survived by Gloria Amparo Vasquez (Evaristo), Maria Del Refugio Chapa, Sergio A. Chapa ( Teresa), Rolando E. Chapa (Marisa), Jorge A. Chapa (Letty), Amadeo F. Chapa (Sory), Carlos E. Chapa, Jose A. Chapa (Susana).
Nena will always be remembered for her unwavering dedication to the church she served, as well as for the love and faith she inspired in those around her.
Services are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel, located at 20567 Highway 16 South, Von Ormy, TX. The Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with an Evening Service set for 6:00 PM. A Viewing will also take place at 9 AM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Service at Templo Gethsemani Del Cladic, situated at 519 Commercial Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78211. Following the service, Interment will take place at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
