Sabina Huerta's Obituary
Sabina Huerta, Age 84, went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 29, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born August 30, 1940, in Bexar County, a daughter of the late Pablo and Cruz Castillo. She had numerous siblings with one surviving sister, Mary Rodriguez.
Sabina was preceded in death by her beloved children, Yolanda Casias and Anthony Huerta, as well as her grandson, Jose Astrain Jr.
She is survived by her lifelong sweetheart, her loving husband of 70 years, Antonio C. Huerta.
She leaves behind three daughters: Helen (Sam), Diana, and Susan, and three sons: Jerry (Sandra), Ruben (Gloria), and Rene (Bertha).
Her grandchildren were the joy of her life, Including 25 grandchildren, 60 great- grandchildren, and 20 great-great grandchildren, with two more on the way.
She was a woman of unwavering love and kindness, known for her warm heart, deep faith, and devotion to her family. She touched the lives of many with her generosity and strength. She always made sure her loved ones felt special, never missing a birthday call to let them know how much they meant to her.
Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the aroma of her home-cooked meals. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and unconditional love that will live on in the hearts of her family.
Services:
Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life service at 6:30 PM at Palm Heights Mortuary.
The funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Burial to follow at First Memorial Park.
