Rosemary Velasquez's Obituary
RoseMary Velasquez, was born on March 18, 1950 and departed her loving family on January 24, 2026.
She is survived by her children; Rosie (Daniel), Inez, Lisa (Jacob), Joseph, Michael (MaryJane) and John (Vanessa); 18 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 3 Sisters.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Porfiria Salinas; brother Alfonso Velasquez; and Nephew Anthony Reyna.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother in law and sister. RoseMary was a breast cancer survivor. She was hardworking and dedicated as she spent 20 years working in the Dietary Dept at Baptist Hospital. Her kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she knew. She always looked forward to taking her annual trips with her sisters. She was also a huge Dallas Cowboys and Spurs fan. She loved having family breakfast on the weekends with her family.
Mom was our rock, our go to when life got rough and our comfort. You were always someone we could count on without judgement. Because of you, Mom, we have hearts of a lion and a strong love of our family. We will miss you dearly and we will forever keep you in our hearts with God.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at Camero Funeral Home.
