Rose Marie Jones' Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Marie Jones, who entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2026 at the age of 43.
Rose Marie was a caring, loving person. Always willing to help others in any way she could.
She always greeted you with a hug and a smile, and never left without saying "I love you."
Rosie was a simple person, only wanting the basics in life. She was grateful for everything and cherished the small things.
She loved plants, fishing, and most of all, her family. She loved her nephews and nieces dearly and treated them as her own.
Although Rosie's life may have been short, her life was not short on love.
Rose Marie is preceded in death by her father, Armando W. Benavides Jr.; maternal grandparents, Leopoldo and Olga Samaniego; paternal grandparents, Armando Sr. and Stella Benavides.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Jay Jones Jr.,; mother, Maria O. Benavides; siblings, Armando L. Benavides III and Julie Ann Benavides Dixon; nieces, Cassandra Benavides, Valerie Santos and Hailey Benavides; nephews, Nicholas Benavides and Draven Dixon; companion, Allen Dylla.
The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m.on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in the funeral home chapel with Mr. Obed Pineda officiating.
Interment will follow in First Memorial Park, 20567 S. Hwy 16, 78073.
