Roger Garza Jr.'s Obituary
Roger Garza Jr. was born on September 14, 1981, in San Antonio, Texas, and was called home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Garza Sr. (Pops).
He is survived by his loving mother, Rachel Sanchez; his sisters, Melissa and Venessa Garza, and their fiancés, Juan Salazar and Michael Bender; his son, Israel Garza; his nieces, Micaela Cortez, Araceli Rangel, Drianna Sanchez (Eric Sanchez Jr.), and Eleazandria Rangel; and his nephews, Jaden Cortez, Tristan Bender, and Micah Bender; Great nephew Mason Sanchez. He is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Roger was known for his humble spirit, quick humor, and kind heart. Like a free bird, he lived life freely and on his own terms. His creative and artistic nature came naturally to him and left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 5:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 6:00 P.M. On Thursday, January 29, 2026, visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. with a Celebration of Life at 10AM, interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
