Roberto Gutierrez's Obituary
Roberto Gutierrez, age 62, went home to be with God on January 2, 2021.
Roberto his survived by his wife, R. Irene, and his three daughters.
Roberto was born on May 18, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas to Francisco Torres Gutierrez and Maria Sandoval Gutierrez. Roberto graduated from Fox Tech high school in 1977. He held multiple careers, but his favorite was he was a truck driver.
Roberto's accomplishments were being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Roberto enjoyed spending time with his family, washing his vehicles, reading his Bible, and listening to music.
Roberto fought cancer multiple times and was in remission. Roberto never ceased to give up in his battle and vowed to fight until the end, which he did with bravery, courage, and the strength of God.
Roberto was survived by his wife of 31 years, R. Irene and his daughters, Jessica and her husband Gilbert Sotello, Maria Gutierrez, and Cecilia and her husband, Gregory Martinez. Roberto loved and cherished his 6 grandchildren, Elliot Sotello, Joshua Robert Gutierrez, Abigail Gutierrez, Victoria Sotello, Sophia Martinez, and Jaxson Sotello. Roberto was also survived by his siblings, Maria Gonzales, Yolanda Cruz, Frank Gutierrez, Guadalupe Salvador Gutierrez, Carmen Oropeza, Gloria Pelayo, Martin Gutierrez, and Sylvia Lucia Gutierrez. Roberto is also survived by additional family to include a mother in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Roberto was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Juanita Delafuente.
Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end, it simply means we'll miss you until we see you again.
