Roberto S. Chavez Jr.'s Obituary
Roberto S. Chavez Jr. born on January 30, 1960, was called home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2024, at the age of 64. He is preceded in death by his father Roberto F. Chavez Sr. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rosalva T. Chavez, sons, Roberto T. Chavez III, Richard Lee Chavez and wife Sara Liu Chavez, mother, Maria Del Carmen Salazar, siblings, Gloria (Lorenzo) Garcia, Lilia (Barry) Payne, Geraldo (Lupe) Chavez, Carlos (Pearl) Chavez, Juan (Irene) Chavez, Reynaldo (Rachel) Chavez, Linda Chavez, Angel (Rochelle) Chavez, Rocky Chavez, Raymond (Donna) Chavez, pets, MD (Middle Dog), Leah, Tulip, Toro, Precious, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.
Roberto was a born leader who was known for his kindness; he was a very caring man. He would put others needs ahead of his. He was a great believer for fighting for other people's rights. He was considered the family's "lawyer". He would also give great advice to friends and anyone in need. Roberto was a great loving husband. His wife, Rosalva would call him "Mi Corazón". He treated her very well like a queen. The love they shared between one another was a special love.
Roberto had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed listening to Fleetwood Mac/Peter Frampton/Led Zeppelin. He was an amazing artist. He created many drawings for many family members. He would see the beauty in everything. Many people would stop to look at his drawings, many even took photos of them. Roberto is deeply loved and will greatly miss by those who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at Camero Funeral Home. On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, with a mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at First Memorial Park.
