Roberto R. Carrasco's Obituary
Roberto R. Carrasco, born March 5, 1951 to Abelino Carrasco, Jr. and Nicolasa Rodriguez Carrasco in Poteet, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the age of 68 years. Mr. Carrasco was preceded in death by his father, Abelino Carrasco Jr., daughter, Alyssa Carrasco, brother, Don Carrasco, and sister, Angelita Carrasco Sanchez. Mr. Carrasco is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janie Carrasco; sons, Robert Carrasco, Jr. and Andrew G. Carrasco; mother, Nicolasa Carrasco, brother, Charlie Carrasco; sisters, Pauline Valdez and Osanna Carrasco; grandchildren, Timothy and Desiree Carrasco; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends. Mr. Carrasco had a calm and serious character with a sense of humor. He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed the craft of woodworking. He made many beautiful things with his hands. He also loved to go fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will begin on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 274 Avenue H, Poteet. A Rosary Service will be held on Friday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Madre Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery, Poteet.
