Robert C. Cardona's Obituary
Robert C. Cardona born March 7, 1952 in Poteet, Texas to Jose Cardona Sr. and Barbarita Cabasoz Cardona passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 66 years surrounded by his family. Mr. Cardona is survived by his son, Robert Cardona, Jr., daughter, Brenda Cardona Ruiz (Roger), son, Anthony Cardona, daughter, Evelyn Cardona Barr (Curtis), daughter, Bertha Cardona Villegas, (Joe, Jr.), daughter, Michelle Cardona Esparza (Nathaniel), and daughter, Matilda Cardona Guzman (Richard); brothers, Simon Cardona, Sr. and Jose Cardona, Jr.; sisters, Eva Avila, Gloria Almendarez, Delia Reyna; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Mr. Cardona loved spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed listening to music and taking walks outside. He loved the sport of basketball and liked to watch the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys play. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will begin on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held Thursday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7701 Somerset Rd.
