Ricardo F. Alvarado's Obituary
Ricardo F. Alvarado born August 10, 1930 in San Carlos, Coahuila, Mexico to Iginio Alvarado and Sara Franco Alvarado passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Mr. Alvarado was preceded in death by his wife, Lucia Alvarado. He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Jorge Alvarado (Santa), Sabino Alvarado (Maria), and Jesus Alvarado (Phyllis); daughter, Sara Alvarado; sisters, Abelina Barrera, Maria Soto, and Genoveva Menchaca; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mr. Alvarado enjoyed visiting with family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved telling his stories and his experiences in life. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed working with his hands. He built many homes throughout his life and assisted in the building of Sea World as well as some of the buildings in the downtown area of San Antonio. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Memorial Park Cemetery.
