Reynaldo Felipe Gomez's Obituary
Reynaldo Felipe Gomez born December 30, 1949 to Felipe Castillo Gomez and Simona Ybarra Gomez in San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 surrounded by his family at the age 71 years. Mr. Gomez was preceded in death by his father, Felipe Castillo Gomez; mother, Simona Ybarra Gomez; brother, Joey Gomez; and sisters, Roberta Clark and Donna Flores. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gloria Gomez; daughters and sons in law, Stephanie Gomez and Joel Contreras, Jennifer Gomez and Brian Phillips, and Bernadette Brooks and Dustin Brooks; brother, Geronimo Gomez; sisters, Janie Moraniec, Cecilia Villarreal, and Nancy Villarreal; 8 grandchildren; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Mr. Gomez truly loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren who he adored. He was a loving, giving and faithful person. Mr. Gomez was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was involved with many of the Church activities including the Pancake and Taco Breakfasts as well as helping with any benefits for the children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles in his spare time. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held on Wednesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Procession will depart Camero Funeral Home on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 14632 Kilowatt Rd., Elmendorf. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home.
