Raymond Mata's Obituary
Raymond Mata went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 28, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 59. Raymond was born August 02, 1960 in San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his Father, Ramon Mata and is survived by his loving wife, Maggie Mata; mother, Rosa Mata; children, Adrian Torres, Raymond Torres and Denise Torres; step-children, Johnnie Cuevas, Patrick Cuevas and Dana Watts; brother, Raul Mata; sisters, Rosa Nicasio and Rachel Mata Bertha; as well as seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved him.
Raymond loved to spend time with his family and friends and barbecuing with those closest to him. His hobbies included making crosses out of wood, taking care of and spending time with his dogs and his chickens. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The voids left are great, yet Raymond has passed from death unto life, rejoicing in the presence of his Savior and family in heaven.
