Raymond Good's Obituary
Raymond Good, 91 years old, died peacefully at home, with family and friends at his bedside, on September 15, 2021.
A short Mass will be held on October 11, 2021 at Saint Anthony Mary Claret, 6150 Roft Road, San Antonio, Texas at 11 o’clock, to celebrate Raymond’s life. Per his request, there will not be a reception afterwards.
Raymond was born in Cork Ireland, on September 19, 1929, to Michael and May Good. He was a brewer in Ireland and later became a chauffeur/bodyguard for the president of ITT for 25 years.
Raymond was an active member in the Knights of Columbus. He was a fourth degree lifetime member. He was an active member of the Elks Club, the Irish Club, the New Jersey Club and various golf clubs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Norma; his two daughters, Lynn Calero and Kerry Kurtz; his son-in-law Al Calero; and his three grandchildren, Megan Calero, Corey Calero and Alexandra Kurtz. He is also survived by his two sisters, Betty & Gemma.
