Raymond R. Garcia III, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on November 16th, 2021. Raymond was born in San Antonio on November 5th, 1959. Raymond and Elizabeth Garcia were married on October 13th, 2012 and enjoyed 9 years of marriage. Raymond worked as a corrections officer for the department of criminal justice for 15 years. He enjoyed motorcycles, his pets; Roxy and Mia, and Raymond also loved to travel his great country. Raymond was involved in the VFW, as well he was an avid member of Life Change Church, and he was also a dedicated soldier who loved the military and his country. Raymond is survived by his spouse Elizabeth (Viruzo) Garcia; father Ramon(Martha) Garcia; mother Juanita Garcia; children Raymond Garcia, Briana Garcia, Stephen Garcia, Jacob DeLeon, Daniel DeLeon, and Cynthia Garcia; brothers Jesse(Cynthia) Garcia, John Garcia, Roland (Connie) Garcia, Jorge Mosqueda; sisters; Mary Garcia, Marcy Alice (Xavier) Salinas, and Maria(Andy) San Miguel along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Family and friends. Raymond is preceded in death by his grandmother Ramona San Miguel; grandparents Ramon C. Garcia and Josefina Fuentez Garcia. In his time with the Military, Raymond earned: Naval Unit- Commendation, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Service Ribbon, Combat Action Badge, Operation Iraqi Freedom IAW, Service in Kuwait ribbon. The Funeral Service will be held at Camero Funeral Home at City Base. Visitation; Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 4pm-8pm, Prayer Service; Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 6:00 pm, Funeral Service; Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 8:30 am, Interment; Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery for a 10:30 am burial. Services will be conducted by Pastor Bryon Thomas of Life Change Church.
