Ras Emiliano Cantu's Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Ras Cantu, who left us on October 12th at just 24 years old. Cherished by his parents, son, family, girlfriend, and friends, Ras was known for his unwavering warmth, deep kindness, steadfast faith, and heartfelt devotion to those he loved.
Born on September 3rd, 2001, in San Antonio, Ras Cantu spent his years uplifting those around him. He will always be remembered as a devoted father, a loving brother, and a loyal friend whose presence brought light and comfort to many.
Ras Cantu is survived by his loving parents, Jennifer and Andres Cantu; his brothers, Judah, Joaquin, and Andrae Cantu; his grandparents, Melba and Andy Cantu; his Aunt Adriane Cantu and her children, Che and Vera Cantu; his Aunt Jenifer and Uncle Alex Guzman and their children, Celi and Rafa Guzman; his beloved girlfriend, Alexandria Rodriguez, and their cherished son, Lazarus Cantu. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Solorio Stoltz, and his paternal great-grandmother, Mary Mata. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported them during this difficult time.
A memorial service to celebrate Ras’ life will be held on Friday, October 24th at Camero Funeral Home, 20567 HWY 16 S, Von Ormy, TX. The visitation will begin at 9 am, and the Funeral Service will be held from 11 to 11:30 am. Followed by the burial at noon.
Ras Cantu will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
