Ramona S. Tijerina's Obituary
Ramona S. Tijerina, born December 26, 1944 to Jesus Santos and Amelia Pena Santos in San Antonio, Texas passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the age of 74 years. Mrs. Tijerina was preceded in death by son, Gabriel Tijerina and daughter, Sylvia Dominguez. She is survived by her sons, Robert Santos, and Luis Tijerina; daughters, Irene Santos and Amelia Ann Vasquez; sister, Rebecca Garcia; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; also numerous other relatives and friends. Mrs. Tijerina’s favorite pastime was watching novelas. She also loved to dance, embroider, and sew her own curtains. She enjoyed making tamales for her family. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Visitation will begin on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held Thursday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will depart on Friday, at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Clare Catholic Church. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered at www.camerofuneralhome.com
