Ramon R. Martinez's Obituary
Ramon Reyes Martinez, born January 15,1935 to Sostenes and Virginia Martinez, was welcomed into heaven on December 19,2022 at the age of 87 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lydia Martinez; brothers, Cruz ( Marjorie), Emilio ( Estella), Sostenes Jr. ( Carmen), sister Virginia (Jesse) , brother in law, Manuel Cantu and one beloved granddaughter , Leilani Grace Giresi. Ramon is survived by his sister Narcisa ( Nancy) Cantu ; daughter Veronica Martinez Giresi ( Michael) , granddaughter, Lilyan Rae Giresi and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ramon was a veteran who proudly served his country for 6 years before working for the City of San Antonio as a welding supervisor for 26 years. He will be lovingly remembered and missed deeply by all those who knew and loved him.
