Ramon S. Casias' Obituary
Ramon S. Casias, born October 1, 1929 to Francisco Casias and Agapita Silva Casias in Somerset, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the age of 90 years. Mr. Casias was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Eulalia Casias, and son, Eugene Casias. He is survived by his sons, Johnny Joe Casias (Norma), Ernest Casias (Diana), Raymond Casias, Jr. (Jeanette), and Gerald Casias; daughter, Patricia Jane Terrazas (Manuel, Jr.); daughter in law, Stella Casias; brother, Pete Casias; 15 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren; and 3 more on the way; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mr. Casias was raised on a farm and was a hard working man. He enjoyed life, could be outspoken at times and had a feisty personality. He also had a great sense of humor. He loved his family dearly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The Casias Family wishes to acknowledge Vitas Hospice and their staff for all the care and compassion given to their Father. Serving as Pallbearers are Craig Casias, Ryan Casias, Aaron Casias, Isaiah Casias, Juan Casias, and Pete Casias. Visitation will begin on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held on Monday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home.
