Rafael Colon Mercado's Obituary
Rafael Colon Mercado was called home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2026, at the age 95. He is preceded in death by his parents, Justiniano Mercado and Carmen Colon. He is survived by his daughters Dolores Hernandez and Gloria Colon, brother Atemo Mercado, sister Guedelia Mercado Martinez, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, other family members and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 3:00 P.M. -8:00 P.M. with a service at 6:00 P.M at Camero Funeral Home in Von Ormy, TX. Another visitation will be held on July 7, 2026, at Bormann Funeral Home located at 1600 Chicago Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160 from 9AM - 11AM, with a chapel service at 10:30 A.M. with interment to Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery.
