Phillip John Leon's Obituary
Phillip John Leon, born in San Antonio, Texas on October 11, 1943, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Leon is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Leon; mother, Consuelo Leon; and brother, Peter Leon. Mr. Leon is survived by his wife, Micaela Leon; son Phillip Leon, Jr. and daughter Marie Wilson (Anthony); sister, Marie Carroll; grandsons, Jose Fernandez, Phillip Leon, III, Jacob Wilson; granddaughters, Marie Fernandez, Vanessa Lyons, Ashley Leon, Alyssa Leon; and great-granddaughter, KaeLee Sanchez, as well as other numerous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Mr. Leon was a devoted Christian, spent his time reading the Bible and spreading the word of God. Mr. Leon was a loving husband, father and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church located at 18755 Stone Oak Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78258. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Cornerstone Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III located at 1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226.
