Phillip F. Garcia Jr. Born June 14th 1985 in San Antonio, Texas. Passed on August 30, 2023 at the age of 38. Loving Father to Zakk Phillip Garcia, Son to Maria Garcia and Phillip Garcia Sr. Brother to Maricela Jaimes, Roman Garcia and Stephanie Herrera. Beloved Tio to Jose Jaimes, Caytlyn Jaimes, Selena Herrera, and Vicente Herrera Jr.
Living life to the fullest, experiencing all he can, tasting all he can and spending as much time as possible with his son is what he lived by.
Phillip loved his family and friends above all else, including himself. Movie night’s, Birthday party’s, Holiday’s, Spontaneous Getaways, Concerts, Weekend Barbecues, Special Occasion Dinners and events, You can always count on Phillip to make it memorable somehow. Getting the biggest plate of food in the building then sitting down with friends and family just to talk and laugh was his favorite. Sneaking a nap, or “recharging” as he would say, was a close second.
Showing love, being kind and a protector of all around him, all came natural to him. The same as the strength of his handshakes, his big bear hugs that he would give and his genuine laugh. If you were lucky enough to get any of those you knew Phillip.
Phillip’s most prized possession and biggest piece of his heart is the gift of his son, Zakk Garcia. Never has a father ever been more unfaltering, so happy, so proud, more excited and passionate, and wholeheartedly in love with his son then that of Phillip Garcia Jr.
With Family and Friends his spirit lives, as his journey with us may be over, a guide to be a Loving Father, Faithful Son, and Genuine Human Being has begun.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with a service to be held at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
