Pedro C. Ramirez's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Pete,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pedro C. Ramirez Sr.(Pete), a cherished
soul who departed from this world on 12/6/2023.
Pete was born on 8/27/1948 to Jesus and Pia Ramirez. He brought a radiant light into the lives
of those fortunate enough to know him. He was a hard working and caring man. Pete's impact
was profound, touching the hearts of many.
Pete was a machinist for over 40 years. He was also an important part of his community as a
member of the Poteet Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as Fire Chief for many
years.
Pete was a loving husband, a nurturing parent, a cherished sibling, and a loyal friend. He was
survived by his wife, Olga C. Ramirez, daughter Beatrice Jordaan and husband Johan, son,
Pedro Ramirez Jr and wife Linda, son, Adrian Ramirez and wife Kelly. He was a loving
Grandfather to his 8 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Pete was survived by his
siblings Jesus Ramirez Jr, Jose Ramirez wife Alice, Macario Ramirez wife Trinidad, Gloria
Botello husband Joe, and Paulita Moya husband John and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Pia Ramirez, siblings Eustolio Ramirez,
Domingo Ramirez, Maria Navejar Arthuro Ramirez, Lupita Ramirez, and Juan Ramirez.
As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Pete not with tears of sorrow, but with smiles that
reflect the warmth of his spirit. His memory will forever live on in the stories we share, the
lessons he imparted, and the love he generously gave.
