Pedro F. Porter II's Obituary
Pedro F. Porter II (Pete) passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 71 years old. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 29,1952.
Pete had a long-time passion for playing golf. He managed the Polo Field golf course and others in San Antonio. On September of 1981, he married his beautiful sweetheart, Maria De Lourdes, who he loved with all his heart. On their tenth-year anniversary they welcomed their first beautiful child, Stephanie. Five years later along came the little mister, Pedro III. He treasured the beautiful memories he created with his family throughout his 71 years on this earth. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. He enjoyed any chance he had to go out and eat with family. You would never get a no for that question. Pete was a very stubborn man, you would catch him outside mowing the yard smiling at you with a big smirk on his face, like ya! Stop me I dare you!!! He also loved his coffee!
His little furr best friend Rascal joined him on July 1st. He always said he wanted his Rascal with him.
Most precious to Pete was his faith in God and love for his entire family. Lulu, Stephanie, Petie, his siblings, and nephews and nieces. He will be missed tremendously.
Pete is also preceded in death by both his parents, Frank V. Porter and Lina M. Porter. His niece Jennifer Comley and nephew Ricardo P. Mahamuth
Pedro is survived by his beautiful wife Maria De Lourdes, daughter Stephanie Leandra Sandoval Martinez-Porter (Heather); son Pedro F. Porter III; brother Frank V. Porter (Oralia); sister Mary Ann P. Mercado (Seferino); sister Katherine P. Zapata (Ramiro); brother Jeffery Porter (Belinda); brother Gary R. Porter (Lisa) numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
