Pedro Casias' Obituary
Pedro Casias, born September 9, 1937 in Von Ormy, Texas to parents Juan Francisco Casias and Agapita Silva, entered into eternal rest July 7, 2026 at the age of 88. Pedro was preceded in death by his father, Juan Francisco Casias; mother, Agapita Silva Casias; wife, Marcelina Contreras Casias; and brother, Ramon Casias. He is survived by his children, Juan Antonio, Maria Teresa Frausto, Melinda Moreno (Thomas), Pedro Jr. (Oralia) Jose (Velia), Arturo (Debbie) and Albert (Stella); grandchildren, Clara, Melissa, Mark, Eric, Leonard Jr, Nicolas, Anna, Gregory, Marci, Jo and Seth.
Pedro worked for National Grocers for 20 years. He was married for 28 years. He enjoyed his morning coffee with pan dulce. Pedro also enjoyed lottery tickets, the Boston Red Socks and Washington Commanders. Pedro loved watching his shows like, western movies, looney tune cartoons, three stogies, Laurel and Hardy, Tarzan, but his favorite movies were Home Alone and Sleepy Hollow. He enjoyed feeding his cats. Pedro will be dearly missed.

Funeral services are as follows:
Tuesday - July 14, 2026: Visitation 4-8pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary being recited at 6:30pm.
Wednesday - July 15, 2026: Visitation 8-8:45am at Texas Funeral Home Chapel. Departing at 9:00am to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15825 Bexar St, LaCoste, Texas for a 10am Mass. Graveside service will be at First Memorial Burial Park in Von Ormy, Texas following the 10am Mass.
