Paul Delgado was born in Saspamco, TX, to Juan and Irene Delgado. The family moved to Southton, TX in 1946, and except for one year when his father was transferred by Southern Pacific Railroad to Falls City, Paul lived in Southton until 1964. He married Eva Guerra of South San in 1963, and they had four children; Paul Jr., Alice, Daniel, and Monica. He is preceded in death by his son Danny, who died in May 1990 after a motorcycle accident. Paul was in the automotive sector for 22 years, at Kelly AFB for 15 years, and at Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Ga for 5 years. He retired after 20 years in Civil Service. He lived alone since 1990 until his death. He lived and enjoyed life one day at a time, which included cold beer, dancing, Conjunto and Tejano music, fast cars, 4X4s, boats, and motorcycles. He is survived by his children; Paul Jr (JoAnn), Alice (Gerardo), and Monica- his grandchildren; Paul Bruce, Ashley, Daniel (Cristian), Geronimo, and Analisa- and his great grandchildren; Brandon, Alessa, Valec, Dresden, and Cadence. Paul was cremated and his ashes were interred in his son Danny’s grave at El Carmen Cemetery.
