Otila Marines Perez's Obituary
Otila Marines Perez, born July 27, 1937 to Francisco Marines and Dominga Duran Marines passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 surrounded by her family at the age of 80 years. Mrs. Perez was preceded in death by her husband, Rogelio Perez. She is survived by her daughters, Leticia P. Nguyen, Maria Sulema Martinez, Dora Ofelia P. Sanchez, Martha Rendon, and Irene Garza; sons, Rogelio Perez, Jr., Gilberto Perez, and Francisco Perez; brother, Francisco Marines; sisters, Olivia Alvarado, Albesa Hernandez, Hilda Valdez, and Olga Diaz; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; also numerous nephews, nieces, and other extended family members. Mrs. Perez enjoyed preparing meals for her family, gardening and plants, as well as crocheting and sewing. She was a humble person and loved to read her bible. Mrs. Perez was beloved by her neighbors. She was a Good Samaritan and cared for her Mother Dominga, her Comadre Nicolas, and her friend Petra Fuentes in their time of need, this while still caring for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel. A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Procession will depart on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Rey De Reyes Church, 22185 Hwy. 16 South, Von Ormy, Texas 78073.
